Deep sea fishing

 DEPARTURE  7am / RETURN 12pm

After 30 minutes of navigation, we will start the morning with trolling over Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs). The lures are set up, and the rods are equipped with Penn reels. We primarily use "balawoo" (small fish caught with a cast net) rigged with an octopus, which is the favorite meal of mahi-mahi and sailfish. We adjust the lures according to the season and, of course, the targeted species.

Our electronic equipment (GPS and fishfinder) from Lowrance allows us to navigate directly to the Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) and, more importantly, to explore the drop-offs. This is particularly beneficial for enthusiasts of jigging, poppers, and other lure techniques.

Included: fishing equipment, captain, and guide. Also provided is a cooler filled with soft drinks (water, soda, beer, and hot coffee) and a small snack (ham and cheese sandwich).

The pricing varies depending on the number of people. The maximum capacity is 6 persons per boat. However, if you have more people, it's certainly feasible with prior notice.

Fishing Trip

Marlin bleu a Las terrenas

"EL BANCO DE NAVIDAD"

We invite you to embark on a 40-foot catamaran with all the comfort for an unforgettable 2-night, 3-day fishing trip based on 4 or 6 anglers.

"El Banco de Navidad" is a coral plateau spanning 650 km², located 50 miles off the coast of Las Terrenas, in the middle of the ocean.

Come prepared physically because your arms and back will be put to the test. Departure from Las Terrenas before dawn, and after over 4 hours of navigation, we'll arrive at the fisherman's paradise.

All techniques can be tried, given the quantity and diversity of fish we may encounter: Wahoos, large Jacks, Snappers, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, Marlins, etc.

We'll start the day by trolling various lures around the plateau to see what monsters we can pull up from the depths. Then, for enthusiasts of jigging, poppers, stick baits... we'll drift the boat to put you in the best fishing conditions.

At night, a deep-sea fishing session is organized onboard for the most resilient, while others can enjoy a well-deserved rest.

At the crack of dawn, we'll fish around the plateau before heading back. Arrival is planned for late afternoon in Las Terrenas.

We take care of everything; just come with your equipment and your endurance for the big and beautiful fight.

COME AND MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE!
